Over the last week or so I have been slowly working through
my Japanese army in an effort to get them painted up. The current method is to
paint them in batches of three which seems to provide me with enough variety not
to get bored with the painting process.
The Chain of Command army list for 1942 appears to be a bit bigger than other nation’s lists with four crew to serve each support weapon and infantry squads of fourteen including their Junior Leaders. So before I even think about selections from the support option lists I have to paint fifty six figures !
They break down as follows:
1 Senior Leader
5 Junior Leader with rifles
3 Mortar men
3 LMG Men
45 Riflemen
Yikes !
I hope you enjoy what I have achived so far.
The shading on the helmets is very dynamic. I like it.
